Modellbilarna is from Sweden and they sell model cars online. They have thousands of car models of different sizes in their catalogue imported from and synchronized to an external system. I was entrusted to create this import and synchronization script that runs daily and maintains an entire catalogue of products from the import.
The site has undergone migrations to different shopping carts over the years. Initially started with Joomla / Virtuemart, then migrated to Prestashop and now runs on WordPress / Woocommerce. The script, which itself has undergone migrations along with the site, was created during the days of Joomla / Virtuemart and is still running fine.
